FIUTS Youth Leadership Program Alumni create a free swim school to address a need in their community
Orasje Swim School created by FIUTS alumni
YLP students from Orasje for their project chose and organized swimming school for kids. Our idea was based upon sad thing that happened this summer. Few young people drowned because they couldn't swim. We wanted to help our kids and teach them to swim properly and make sure that no more accidents happen.
School was 2 weeks long and 60 kids have come eager to learn. We had so much fun getting to know these kids and helping them learn. School was a complete success and we are proud of our selves.
