Wednesday Lunch takes place in the Kane Hall Walker Ames Room from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Wednesday Lunch is an environmentally friendly event! Please bring your own mug or cup for drinks. The drinks are free but the cups won’t be. You’ll be able to purchase a disposable cup for $1 or get a FIUTS mug for $6.

Wednesday Lunch is the longest-running international gathering on the University of Washington campus! Join us once a month during the UW academic quarters for FREE food and great conversation. The lunch is open to all on campus, as well as anyone interested in promoting international understanding. FIUTS Wednesday Lunch is a wonderful place to meet people from all over the world and find out about what's happening at FIUTS.

Spend the evening exploring Seattle's art scene. On the first Thursday of each month, many of Seattle's museums and galleries are free to the public, including the Seattle Art Museum!

Join the World Affairs Council and FIUTS for a light breakfast (coffee and pastry) and networking followed by a panel discussion on Libya after the revolution. Panelists will be selected from a delegation of distinguished NGO leaders from Libya. This a great opportunity to hear first hand about rebuilding post-conflict Libya. There are a limited number of seats available, so register early - send an email to info@fiuts.org to reserve your space!

Celebrate months of hard work with over 200 other volunteers, committee members, performers and booth captains at the CulturalFest 2012 After Party!

Snow Tubing at Snoqualmie Feb 18, 2012 from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM — Depart from Burke Museum Cafe ,

Head up to the mountain with FIUTS for a day of snow tubing at Snoqualmie. Spend the day tubing down the slopes followed by a group lunch together in North Bend and an optional visit to Snoqualmie Falls. A few spaces remain; sign-up now in the FIUTS Office. Event is open to UW students only. Cost is $45 for FIUTS Members and $50 for non-members. This includes transportation to/from Snoqualmie Pass and 2 hours of tubing fun with use of professional grade recreational tubes, all access to a groomed tubing hill and a surface tow to get you back up the hill!
