Every Friday this summer go on an adventure with FIUTS! Explore Seattle's parks and beaches, enjoy live music, food and arts festivals, or pick up a paddle and canoe in Lake Washington. You can do all of these activities and more with FIUTS, so mark your calendars. Every Friday let FIUTS be your guide to exploration, friends and fun!
This week's event is: Exploring the Seattle Neighborhood of Fremont
We will spend the first half of the evening touring Fremont and checking out the public art, restaurants and attractions that make Fremont so unique. We will go out to dinner as a group
Then, after the sun goes down we have the option to stay for the Fremont Outdoor Cinema, featuring the movies Clerks and Mallrats.* You do not have to stay for the movies, but you are certainly welcome to. Check out the movies before you go to see if they look interesting to you.
Fremont Outdoor Movies is a community-spirited big screen celebration of pop classics, cult favorites, independent film, video shorts and high camp old fashioned summer fun. Here is the Facebook event for the movie night.
Who: Current students and FIUTS friends
When: Friday, 5pm
Where: Meet at the Burke Museum Cafe, outside, in the parking lot
What to bring: The cinema is $10 (for both movies), but you should also bring money for food/drink, your UPASS (or bus money), camera, and warm clothes for when the sun goes down. Also feel free to bring a blanket to sit on.
