Wednesday Lunch
Wednesday Lunch - A University of Washington Institution
The FIUTS Wednesday Lunch program is the largest international gathering on the University of Washington campus, and is held once a month in the Walker Ames reception room of Kane Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Each month hundreds of local and international students mingle with community members to discuss international issues, enjoy a free lunch spread, and make new friends.
Check the FIUTS event calendar to learn when the next Wednesday Lunch will be. By Fall 2012, FIUTS will return to the beautifully renovated Husky Union Building (HUB) where we will continue the new tradition of a monthly Wednesday Lunch in the South Ballroom of the HUB.
FIUTS is also committed to providing sustainable and environmentally responsible programs. The FIUTS Wednesday lunch program recycles over 80% of its materials, and provides on site-composting. In addition, although the beverages at Wednesday Lunch are free, FIUTS asks that you bring your own mug or cup to enjoy them. For those who come to Wednesday lunch without their own cup, reusable FIUTS mugs and glassware will be available for purchase on site.
