Take the World to Work Week Photos 2009

From January 31 - February 6, FIUTS students had the unique opportunity to visit Seattle-area businesses and meet local professionals for Take the World to Work Week, a part of UW's Career Discovery Week.

Coca Cola Bottling Facility

FIUTS alumnus Babatunde Aina gave students and staff a tour of the Coca Cola bottling facility where he is a supervisor.

KEXP Studios

FIUTS students got a behind the scenes tour of KEXP radio station, had a q&a session with an on air dj, and even got to pretend to be rock stars themselves.

American Red Cross

Students Miffy Yen and Yvonne Zhu spent the day with Andrea Kao and her team at the American Red Cross.

Nanogen

Bioengineering student Ji Sun Park, from Korea, spent a day with FIUTS Host Vladimir Gorn and his colleagues at Nanogen.

FIUTS alumni and current hosts Ken Lee and Fortunato Vega hosted a group of business students at Morgan Stanley for a day that included a tour, lunch and meetings with management teams.
