Homestays

A homestay is a great way to get to know the local culture and practice your English language skills. Here are some options for Seattle area homestays:

FIUTS Homestay and Friendship Programs

FIUTS has a "Welcome Week" homestay program through which students may apply to live with a local host for their first 7-10 days in Seattle. This homestay program is intended as a cross-cultural experience; hosts are unpaid volunteers who want to show their hospitality to new students and get to know people from around the world. More information about this program is here.
