FAQ - Registration
Do I need to register for the FIUTS International Student Orientation?
Students entering the University of Washington in Spring or Summer Quarters 2017 do not need to register in advance for FIUTS International Student Orientation.
Most students entering in Fall Quarter 2017 will need to register for their International Student Orientation Session, occurring during International Welcome Weeks:
Freshmen and transfer students are automatically registered for their International Student Orientation Session when they register for their First Year Programs Advising & Orientation program. Freshmen who participate in Early Fall Start must attend EFS International Student Orientation but do not need to participate in another session in September.
Matriculated graduate students must register for their chosen International Student Orientation Session. Register for your session on the International Welcome Weeks page. Exchange students (both undergraduate and graduate) must attend the Exchange International Student Orientation Session and do not need to register for their session.
In addition, there are some social events during International Welcome Weeks that require registration if you want to participate -- you can sign up for these events when you arrive on campus.
