Lodging

During most of your time in Seattle (when you are not in your homestay), you'll stay in a University of Washington residence hall (dormitory) located on the north side of campus. There is a campus dining facility as well as easy access to other parts of our beautiful campus, as well as shopping and restaurants. . The residence halls are a short walk from the buildings in which your classes and other campus-based activities will be held.

You will share a room with one other SUSI participant of the same gender. Each room has its own bathroom, and there is a common sitting area and kitchen on each floor.

Please note that the University of Washington is non-smoking. Significant fines are charged for smoking anywhere in the residence halls or on campus. There are a very limited number of designated smoking areas on campus, but for the most part, smoking is not allowed, even outdoors.
