Lodging

During most of your time in Seattle (when you are not in your homestay), you'll stay in a University of Washington residence hall (dormitory) located on the west side of campus. Numerous shops and restaurants are all around this area, as well as campus dining locations, so you'll have many choices about where to eat and spend time during your free time. There is also easy access to public transportation to reach other parts of the city. The residence halls are a short walk from the buildings in which your classes and other campus-based activities will be held.

You will share a room with one other SUSI participant of the same gender. Each room has its own bathroom, and there is a common sitting area and kitchen on each floor.

Please note that the University of Washington is non-smoking. Significant fines are charged for smoking anywhere in the residence halls or on campus.
