Show Your Support for Global Community

FIUTS programs bring globalization and cross-cultural understanding to communities across the Puget Sound. We can't do alone, however - learn about how you can help FIUTS carry out its mission here.

Why FIUTS?

FIUTS brings about extraordinary connections, and creates a community of people who share a passion for the world and the potential for individual friendships to create lasting peace.

Your donation  provides a welcoming environment to new international students, connects students to the local community, and inspires future globally-minded leaders.

With your help, FIUTS will continue our work to:

  • Create bonds between people from diverse backgrounds through innovative programs that inspire dialogue and exchange of ideas.
  • Support international students at the University of Washington through orientation services and weekly events and activities.
  • Connect students and members of our community through Wednesday Lunch, Short-Term Homestay, and community event programs.
  • Bring together University of Washington international students and local children in K-12 classrooms through education outreach programs.
  • Create open space for young leaders to learn and build cultural awareness and compassionate, respectful leadership skills.
  • Welcome visiting youth groups to our region from across the globe.
  • Promote social responsibility, civic engagement, and cultural curiosity.
  • Maintain long-term ties between the Puget Sound Region and FIUTS alumni around the world.
  • Build a global circle of friends one friendship at a time.

Learn about how you can support FIUTS through our giving, sponsorship and bequest programs. Be a part of global understanding in your community today!
