FIUTS Events and Social Programs
FIUTS plans many events both around Seattle and on the University of Washington Campus. These events & activities are a great way to make friends and get to know this beautiful area! Our events and activities programs are primarily designed for UW graduate and undergraduate students, as well as visiting faculty, scholars and ELP students. Trip details will be made available 2-3 weeks prior to the event in the FIUTS office, at Wednesday Lunches and via our weekly e-newsletter. Students and scholars can sign up in person with FIUTS staff.

Explore the Cosmopolitan city of Vancouver during Memorial Day Weekend. Spend two nights in a downtown hostel and discover the sights in Vancouver, British Columbia!
The Vancouver trip is a FIUTS
favorite, usually offered in the fall and spring. Some activities will be led by stu dent leaders, however participants have the freedom to choose their own activities and shape their own experience in Vancouver. By choosing their own activities, students seek out their individual interests and share these experiences with the group-enhancing the experience of everyone.
When: Saturday, May 26th - Monday, May 28th, 2012
Cost: $140 for FIUTS members; $150 for non-members (includes transportation, and hostel accommodation.

Sign-up in the FIUTS Office (Monday - Friday, 10am-4pm), at Wednesday Lunch (5/16, 11:30am-1:30pm) or the Downtown ELP Office (Thursday's, 12pm-1pm). Space is limited so sign-up early; full payment (cash or check) required to reserve your spot! This trip is open to UW students only.
