FIUTS CulturalFest 2023

My FIUTS Journey: I became part of FIUTS in 2022 as a student focusing on database and community programs while pursuing my computer science degree at University of Washington. Discovering FIUTS through a work-study opportunity perfectly matched my goal of honing technical skills and leadership in a professional environment. I took a break from FIUTS last summer for a research internship in the Neuroscience Department at UW. In September 2023, I transitioned into the role of Membership Coordinator.

Personal and Professional Growth: Working at FIUTS has been a transformative experience, contributing to both my personal and professional growth. Engaging with numerous students has proven to be a great networking opportunity, and meeting working professionals through FIUTS has added another layer of benefit to my experience.

Memorable Moments and Events: Among the many memorable moments at FIUTS, the Blue Marble Bash and CulturalFest stand out as my favorites, showcasing the strength that comes from unity.

Why Should People Get Involved in FIUTS: FIUTS opens numerous doors for personal and professional development. The skills acquired are valuable assets that can be applied throughout one's journey. Despite a busy school schedule, I recommend students get involved in FIUTS activities, make connections, volunteer, and add value to themselves and society.

Fun Facts About Me: I've traveled to 31 countries and have a deep love for exploring new places.

Last Words of Advice for Students:
