Visit a School

Connecting UW international students with the community is a central part of the FIUTS mission. Our classroom visit programs are a unique way to share your culture while learning about local schools.

The FIUTS Global Ambassador Day program brings University of Washington students into K-6 classrooms for a day. Each classroom hosts a different FIUTS volunteer, who leads an interactive lesson about their home country and culture.

Community Visits

FIUTS community visits are full-day excursions to smaller communities throughout Washington State. Represent your country and culture while learning about the diverse experiences of people living in our beautiful state.

Activities include roundtable discussions with high school students, historical tours of the host communities, community potlucks, and much more!

For information about upcoming community visits, email Kailyn at kailyn@fiuts.org.
