Earth Day Service Event

FIUTS will be joining King Conservation District and Duwamish Alive Coalition to celebrate Earth Day with Duwamish Alive! We will be working at a buffer habitat restoration site on Longfellow Creek in West Seattle. Come through to improve and maintain the health of our natural areas, and in doing so also improve the air and water quality throughout our watershed!

Sign ups begin on Monday, April 8th in the FIUTS office, HUB 206!

Date: April 20th, Saturday

Meeting location & time: George Washington Statue at 9:00 AM

Cost: Free

Who: All ages and experience welcome!

What to bring: The event will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear clothes and closed-toe shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy.

Tools, gloves, water, hot beverages, and snacks will be provided. Please bring water bottle, travel mug, and lunch.
