Want to go someplace far away on the long weekend? Have we got the trip for you! Come along with FIUTS for our Global Getaway to Portland, Oregon! Explore sights, eat delicious food, go to galleries, enjoy tax-free shopping, hang out at parks, and make new friends from around the world during this exciting trip! Try a famous Voodoo donut or visit the world's largest book store!

Travel from Seattle and spend two nights at a beautiful hotel in the Southwest District of Portland. FIUTS Facilitators, volunteer student leaders, will offer some fun activities to help you see the city, but your hotel is conveniently located near downtown so that you have the flexibility to pick and choose your own activities!

Advanced sign-up begins on Monday, October 29th at FIUTS office (HUB 206)!

Meeting Location & Time: George Washington Statue at 9 AM on Nov. 23rd

Cost: $195 for no sharing bed / $175 for sharing bed (including transportation, accommodation and parking.)                                   

Who: UW students, Scholars, IELP, Faculty/staff only (who have UW ID)

Lodging Info: University Place Hotel provides breakfast, internet, and access to their gym to guests. You will share a room with at least 1 other person from the group (males will room with males and females will room with females) and will have the choice to have your own double bed or share a double bed.
