Cheshiahud Loop Urban Hike

Discover hidden city views, street-end parks, illustrious houseboats and more by joining FIUTS on the Cheshiahud Loop Urban Hike! This 6-mile fully-paved trail wraps around Lake Union and will surprise both newcomers and longterm residents with unseen views of the Seattle cityscape. There are a number of restaurants, cafes, and bathrooms participants can stop at along the way. Due to safety regulations around Covid-19, spaces are limited and pre-registration is required.

Difficulty Rating: Medium
Rating Rationale: This trail has little elevation gain, is mostly paved, well-maintained, and never strays far from local restaurants and businesses. The length of the trail (6 miles) is the primary reason for the “medium” rating.

What to bring: Lightweight backpack or bag for water bottle, snacks, money for lunch, and any other items you'll need throughout the day. Wear comfortable shoes (tennis shoes highly recommended) and weather-appropriate clothing.

FIUTS Covid-19 Advisory & Community Safety Regulations:
In alignment with the University of Washington's existing face covering policy and distancing requirements, FIUTS requires all participants to wear a mask for the duration of the event and maintain six-feet of distance with others at all times, regardless of their vaccination status. Participants may only remove masks while actively eating or drinking.

All participants are required to complete an Acknowledgement of Risk (AOR) form prior to attending this event. https://bit.ly/3wo8GUB

Have your plans changed? Why it’s important to officially cancel (as opposed to not show up):

Currently, group sizes are limited to ensure participant safety. This means that we cannot always accommodate everyone who wants to join an event and have an active waitlist. If your plans change, it’s important to let us know because someone would love to have your spot! To cancel your reservation, simply email: annie@fiuts.org. There is no penalty to cancel your reservation.

If you are cancelling for a ticketed event, please note that FIUTS can refund 75% of the ticket price up to three days before an event. If you cancel less than three days before an event, it will not be possible to issue a refund. All refunds will go back on the card originally used to make the purchase within 7-10 business days.
