Join us for a summer evening at Music in the Arboretum on Wednesday, August 13th! This free outdoor concert showcases talented local musicians in the natural beauty of Washington Park Arboretum.
The evening’s featured performers, Ben Hunter & The Intraterrestrials, will share folk music from the Black diaspora—past, present, and future. With a dynamic blend of global rhythms, instruments, and storytelling, their set promises a powerful and immersive musical experience.
Bring a blanket or folding chair, sit back, and enjoy live music surrounded by vibrant summer gardens. A limited number of chairs will be available, so personal seating is encouraged. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during the show.
When: August 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Meet at 5:30 pm at U District Station NE 43rd St & Brooklyn Ave. Corner to travel together!
The event will be at Washington Park Arboretum – Meadow near the Crabapple Collection (2300 Arboretum Dr E, Seattle, WA)
What to bring: This event is free, but you will want to bring cash for food, or your own snacks to have a picnic, a blanket or a folding chair, and your U-PASS!
All ages are welcome, and admission is free.
