FIUTS is looking for current UW students to lead the on-campus chapter for the 2025–2026 school year. If you care about building community across cultures, creating inclusive events, and helping students feel like they belong, this is for you.
When: Wednesday August 6 4:30-5:30pm
Where: Zoom
Who: Any current UW Seattle student interested in joining the RSO leadership team.

What You'll Do:
Plan fun and meaningful events that bring together international and domestic students
Lead conversations around culture, identity, leadership, and global issues
Represent FIUTS values of connection, curiosity, and peacebuilding and be part of a network of global-minded student leaders who support FIUTS’ mission to advance international understanding in our region.
Leadership Roles Available:
1. Chapter President: Leads the chapter and serves as the main point of contact with FIUTS staff, Facilitates meetings and guides the group’s priorities, Ensures the team stays mission-aligned and inclusive, Submits any required reports or updates to FIUTS.
2. Vice President (or Co-President): Supports the president and steps in when needed, Helps manage logistics, Coordinates officer team check-ins and helps with transitions.
3. Dialogue & Programming Chair: Leads planning for dialogue events, cross-cultural workshops, or speaker nights, works to include both international and domestic students in meaningful conversations, Coordinates partnerships with faculty, student clubs, or campus offices.
4. Community Engagement Chair: Plans social events, service projects, or peer meetups, Helps new members feel welcomed and connected.
5. Communications & Outreach Chair: Manages social media, flyers, emails, and recruitment,
Helps tell the story of the chapter to the broader campus, Promotes FIUTS-wide campaigns.
6. Finance & Fundraising Chair: applies for campus funds and manages event budgets.
7. Secretary/CulturalFest Liaison: Takes meeting minutes, tracks committee progress as needed, and supports participation in the FIUTS CulturalFest event.
