Forget the library, spring is finally here. We’re heading to the edge of the city for the ultimate Seattle Saturday; just sand, sport, and s'mores.

We’re kicking off the afternoon with Beach Volleyball and some high-energy sand games. As the sun starts to dip over the Olympic Mountains, we’ll transition to the main event, opening weekend for the Golden Gardens Fire Pits.

The Game Plan:

• The Early Bird: One of us is hitting the beach at 2:00 PM to snag a prime fire pit (they go fast!).

• The Meet-Up: We’re meeting at 2:45 PM 4244 University Way NE (bus top to catch the #45 bus together) Don't be late—the bus won't wait!

• The Hangout: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM or 8:00pm -ish We play, we roast, we watch the sunset.
  

What to Bring:

• Vibe Essentials: A beach towel or a camp chair.

• Snack Attack: Bring your own drinks and whatever you want to roast over the fire (hot dogs, marshmallows, etc. and hey we have a huge coolerbox to keep your drink cold).

• Layers: It’s Seattle—it’ll be 70°F (21°C) at 4:00 PM and 50°F (10°C) the second the sun goes down. Bring a hoodie!

• Bus Fare: Have your Student or ORCA card ready.
