Welcome Back, Alex Radi!

FIUTS is excited to welcome Alex Radi as our new Executive Director!

For many members of our community, Alex is already a familiar face. He served as FIUTS' Manager of Student Programs from 2019 to 2023 and returned in 2024 as Camp Director for the UUTI Kiribati program. During his time with FIUTS, Alex helped create meaningful experiences for thousands of students, volunteers, host families, and community members.

If you've attended CulturalFest over the past several years, there's a good chance you've seen Alex in action. While performers took the spotlight on stage, Alex was often behind the scenes coaching student groups, coordinating performances, solving last minute challenges, and helping make the magic happen. CulturalFest remains his favorite FIUTS program because it brings together so many cultures, stories, and talents in one shared celebration.

As he steps into this new role, Alex brings a deep understanding of FIUTS, a commitment to building community, and a passion for helping people connect across cultures.

FIUTS has long created spaces where students, hosts, volunteers, and community members build meaningful connections across cultures, and I am excited to continue strengthening that work in partnership with the FIUTS team and community."

After he starts next week, he’ll be jumping right in to welcome our campers from the UUTI Kiribati group. You can help us welcome Alex into his new role at an open house at the FIUTS office on Thursday, July 23rd. More details will be shared soon, and we hope many of you will join us.
