My name is Boago Mosweu from Botswana. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and am currently admitted to practice as an Attorney in the Courts of Botswana. I am the founder of The Dream Catalyst, an initiative focused on inspiring and empowering young people to pursue their goals and create impact. I also previously served as Judge President of the University of Botswana Student Judiciary and have held leadership positions across various youth organisations and student clubs. My interests lie in leadership, civic engagement, and youth empowerment. 

How were you introduced to FIUTS? 

I was introduced to FIUTS during my participation in a 2025 visiting program to Seattle. FIUTS became one of the spaces that connected international participants through cultural exchange, community engagement, and shared experiences.

Where are you from? 

I am from Botswana, a peaceful and beautiful country in Southern Africa known for its strong sense of community, cultural richness, and remarkable natural heritage. Growing up in Botswana shaped my values of service, resilience, and collective responsibility. It continues to inspire my passion for leadership, youth engagement, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.

Share a food memory from a FIUTS event. 

One of my favorite food memories from FIUTS was our last dinner together as we graduated from the program. We shared Lebanese cuisine, and it felt like the perfect way to close such a meaningful experience. Beyond the food itself, what made the evening memorable were the conversations, reflections, and sense of connection among people from different parts of the world. It was a moment of celebration, gratitude, and appreciation for the friendships and memories we had built throughout the program.
